if al Schmitt is a leading supply of equipment and services to the global minerals and cement industries our product range covers everything from the single machine units to the complete minerals and cement flow sheets including associated services our latest product the rolling frame was entirely designed and engineered at the FL Smith global screens Tech Center in Australia this design provides customers with a complete technical system this will simplify plant design and structural requirements while increasing safety minimizing downtime and allowing for a one-man operator solution with extensive in-house testing in the use of advanced flying on element analysis and modeling tools we are providing a robust and reliable design that issuers a turnkey solution is delivered to the customer the hydraulic rolling frame assembly was created to reduce the strain change our time enroll in and roll out screen installations a typical role in rollout screen installation will involve two screens one operational and one standby each of these is mounted over a separate rolling frame the entire changer process is controlled from a safe distance fire a user-friendly wireless remote control each pedestal is equipped with an automated locking mechanism to ensure the frame is secured to the supporting structure each rolling frame contains its own PLC and hydraulic unit which allows the screen and frame assembly to disconnect from the supporting pedestals lift up and drive out of the operating position along a twin parallel rail arrangement into a maintenance area prepared for servicing the screen [Music] the rowan frame provides customers with a complete technical system which will simplify their plant design in structural requirements particularly in terms of maintenance access and external infrastructure our key deliverables were increased safety of the change at operation minimize downtime and a one-man operator solution these were the main principles designed FL Smith rolling frame [Music] when used in Sackville applications the quick change our process of the FL Smith rolling frame will eliminate the need to stop the mill to carry out basic screen maintenance using our design the complete screen changer can be carried out in less than one hour this represents a significant cost saving and provides an increase on the planned availability [Music] the screen operating lights are transmitted to the supporting structure through the pedestals so the rolling frame drive components and rails are free from fatigue loads and avoid the potential damage caused by this the rolling frames travel speed is 10 meters per minute and is automatically reduced to 4 meters per minute when the assembly is reaching the maintenance or the operating position Varela safety lights and audible signals are used to indicate normal operation and malfunction alarms [Music] two flexible hoses with camlock couplings provide the water supply for the spray bars and the simple disconnection of these is the only direct interaction required with the machine no tools mechanical works or cable disconnections are necessary the screen is ready to drive out at all times interlocks and sequential logic programmed into the PLC allows safe operation of the rolling frame a collision detection device ensures the screens cannot come into contact with each other an additional positioning sensors confirmed that the machine is in the correct place for maintenance or operation [Music] the design is an example of FL Smits focus on innovation and providing solutions to our customers to investment in product development [Music] you
