Achieving cleaner air in 2016

[Music] 2016 was another great year for Ethel Smith Intertek in particular we are happy to have helped many customers worldwide to not only meet compliance but maintain it with their mission money securing cleaner air and outstanding performances we tried to see how it would look if we could imagine a single fabric filter consisting of all process filters we've delivered in 2016 this is the result the filter bag would have to be around 130,000 bags with an average length of 7 meters the filtering cloth would be enough to cover around 80 football fields we would organize it in 112 chambers closing one for maintenance of course wouldn't be a problem it would be 40 meter width and 400 meters long the thermal expansion to 200 Gries Celsius would be point 5 liters if we would be so patient to align all the bags in cages one by one starting from our offices in Copenhagen when laying the last bag we would have arrived in Paris preventing it from polluting our atmosphere if we ever forgotten the bags 40 million tons of dust would have reached the sky to give you an idea of the amount of dust we're talking about if the dust was in a snowstorm it would have covered in areas widest thing or Thailand with 10 centimeters of dust and to remove all this one-year dust storm it will require 1.3 million cement trucks aligned one by one they would reach the other side of the world exactly half of the Equator it's a good thing that our installations have these bags and then our bags are leaked our performance is limited the dust that was emitted protecting our environment for us in the future generations that will inhabit this planet we are proud to continue delivering an even bigger filter at the end of 2017 enriched with the continuous improvement and constant efforts by our teams to help our customers optimize their production even within the strictest of emission limits [Applause]
