go module filter there are four main
steps in the filtration cycle these are
filtration optional cake wash dewatering
and drying cake discharge the filtration
cycle begins by lowering the upper plate
onto the filter belt and forming the
filtration chamber after the filter
plates are closed the slurry supply
valve opens and the slurry shown here in
white is pumped into the filtration
chamber as the slurry is pumped into the
filtration chamber the filtered solids
accumulate uniformly across the filter
belt clean filtrate shown here in blue
passes through the filter belt into the
lower plate and is discharged from the
filter outlet at the completion of
slurry fill the slurry supply valve
closes if washing of the filtered solids
is desired and optional cake wash is
available the cake wash valve opens and
cake wash shown here in blue is pumped
into the filtration chamber to wash the
filtered solids at the completion of
cake wash the cake wash valve closes
once the slurry fill or optional cake
wash is complete the blowdown valve
opens and compressed air or gas shown
here in green is introduced into the
filtration chamber the compressed air or
gas forces liquid from the filtered
solids and dries the filter cake at the
completion of the blowdown the blowdown
valve closes after the blowdown step is
complete and a dry filter cake is formed
the filter plates open and the dry
filter cake is automatically discharged
high-pressure spray nozzles wash and
clean the filter belt as the filter cake
is discharged the next filtration cycle
begins automatically with the filter
plates closing now that we have watched
the operation of the single module

filter operates the same filtration
cycle steps used for the single module
